With 24 years of experience as a Montessori teacher working with children from 2.5 years old through Grade 6, I specialize in one-on-one and small group lessons that emphasize a phonetic approach, cursive writing, and the use of Montessori materials and methods. I am also an Orton Gillingham Associate Level Practitioner, offering a comprehensive and personalized approach to teaching literacy skills. My background is supported by exceptional interpersonal skills, strong computer proficiency, and up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification, along with a current police check. I’m a proud supporter of Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (and happy dog mom to two rescues!), and the founder of the Embers and Girl Guides program in Lakefield.
